Journeys to client visit 2026/1/23 2026 Journeys to client visit ECOM As the cold snap sweeps across the land, sending average temperatures plummeting to single digits and even below zero in some areas, three colleagues from ECOM Electronics have packed their bags and set off. Departing from Shenzhen, they traveled across Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, making their way through seven cities: Taizhou, Huaibei, Ningbo, Yuyao, Hangzhou, Dongtai and Nantong. Splitting into two teams to act separately and finally reuniting by the West Lake in Hangzhou, they measure the reach of our services with every step they take and interpret the essence of dedication with unwavering perseverance. What follows is a first-person account from a team member, taking you into this customer visit journey that stood up to the bitter cold. December in Shenzhen still clings to a hint of warmth. The three of us, wrapped in thick coats, gathered at Shenzhen Airport, bound for Taizhou. Heading north all the way, the evergreen broad-leaved forests outside the window gradually gave way to frost-laden bare branches. Upon landing, the temperature dropped sharply from 20℃ to below 10℃. When we arrived in Taizhou, the bitter wind cut at our faces like a knife, with the thermometer reading 3℃. We pulled our collars tight and quickly completed the initial consultation with the customer. As planned, after the visit, we split into two teams: the others headed east to Ningbo and Yuyao, while I set off alone on a high-speed train to Huaibei in Anhui. The temperature in Huaibei was even lower than that in Taizhou, dipping below zero. Exhaled breath turned into white mist and vanished in an instant. The customer's company was located in an industrial park on the outskirts of the city, with thin ice coating the roads. I put on non-slip shoes, slung my briefcase over my shoulder, and kept the appointment right on time. During the discussion, the customer looked at my frost-reddened cheeks and couldn't help but say, "You still made it on time in such freezing weather—we truly appreciate this sincerity." To be honest, for every ECOM person, the expectations of our customers are more powerful than any bitter cold. We rushed to Ningbo without a moment's delay. On the high-speed train, we wore heavy coats over our work uniforms, yet still couldn't fend off the cold, having to rub our hands and stamp our feet repeatedly to keep warm. But the moment we opened the proposal folder, all the cold was forgotten. After two back-to-back high-intensity negotiations, our throats were hoarse and our fingers stiff with cold, yet seeing the customer sign the letter of intent for cooperation, all our fatigue turned into motivation. The customer's recognition made us forget all the troubles of the journey. On the agreed reunion day, we met by the West Lake in Hangzhou. The team coming from Huaibei still bore the wind and frost of northern China on their faces, and we had just finished our trip to Yuyao, covered in dust from the road. The willow trees by the lake had not yet sprouted new buds, and the mandarin ducks on the lake were still wandering at their leisure. But the moment the three of us met, all the hardships seemed to find their solace. We took a simple group photo by the lake, with the West Lake and its Three Pools Mirroring the Moon as the backdrop, and the ECOM logo on our chests stood out prominently in the bitter wind. After a night of rest, we headed for Dongtai and Nantong together. The schedule for these two stops was just as tight, yet it did not affect our professional performance in the slightest. When the last customer shook our hands and said "It's a pleasure to cooperate", I looked up at the sky— the lingering dark clouds had dispersed, and sunlight broke through the clouds, as if cheering for our perseverance. On the flight back, we flipped through the photos on our phones: the group photo at the airport when we set off, the ice-covered platform in Huaibei, the logo wall of the customer's company in Ningbo, the ducks by the West Lake, and a picture of the three of us, wrapped in our work uniforms, our noses red with cold but still smiling. These photos capture the bitter chill of the low temperatures, and more importantly, the stubborn perseverance of ECOM people who "persist unwaveringly and face hardships without fear". The bitter winter cold may freeze the roads, but it can never freeze the passion for service; the long distance may stretch the miles between us, but it can never sever the bond of trust. ECOM Electronics always holds fast to our original aspiration like a torch, crosses mountains and seas, braves the bitter cold, and forges ahead to every appointment with our customers with professionalism and perseverance.
